Here's me, helping plant 1200 white pines in Tettegouche National Park with the Sierra Club, in honor of my mom & Willard Munger

What a beautiful fall day it was as I drove up the shore of Lake Superior. A day that I knew would stand out in my mind for years to come. A dedication and preservation of the one thing my mother stood for more than any. The environment! I met some really nice volunteers from the Sierra Club that day, who gave up their beautiful fall day to plant trees in Tettegouche State Park forest, in honor of two people who help them get their funding to preserve this beautiful place, one of them being my mother.
Here are some pictures of my trip up there and back, with a quick stop at Gooseberry Falls.

Even a camera crew showed up.
We were originally only going to plant 1000 white pines, but since we planted them all so fast,
and still had daylight left, they let us plant some paper birch also.
